I'm back!

Hi all! I'm back, I know I haven't posted in like 4 months, but I guess between going to visit family, trying to paint the dining room and kitchen, and becoming obsessed with learning how to cook I kind of haven' t had so much time to post about it.

Unfortunately, I tend to try and do a million things at once and have a hard time putting all my energy into one any one project at a time, UGH! It's frustrating. Anyway, I really would love to take this whole blog thing a bit more seriously. I have been spending so much time looking at all the other amazing blogs out there with a distinct point of view, in awe that anyone could be so devoted to any one thing at a time.

I'm trying to figure out what my voice is going to be here, and I have so many ideas, and passions, that It's hard to just pick one. Maybe some of you out  there can understand my frustration. But I'M determined to figure this all out, and I'll continue to post more about my personal life and food struggles, because I think it's important to talk about your past so you can move on in your future. I hope that maybe if I can talk to those of you out there with similar struggles that I can offer some help or insight, and that you'll be kind enough to return the gesture.

Well enough of the serious stuff for now, and onto my dining room transformation. Let me tell you, this has been a long process so far, this dining room was seriously 50 shades of FUGLY! But with a can of paint and some textured wall paper I've managed to start turning it into a pretty cute little nook. I'll be posting some pictures of the finished product when I get there and will try and get up my tutorial for no-sew curtains. I'm sure many of you pinteristers out there have seen the tutorials but I'll post it anyways, since they came out pretty cute!

I'm really excited to try and get everything I have to say down on keyboard and screen, but you'll be seeing a lot of Asian inspired dishes as I've become obsessed with the cuisine native to my hubby. Dumplings here I come!

I may also start doing some more fitness posts, talk about my workouts a little more, and nutrition as I see it as a whole. My whole 80/20 philosophy on eating and how I've struggled with trying to have the best of both worlds so that I can keep binge eating under tow.

I guess this is just a little preview of whats to come and I hope I can catch the eye of some new followers as I embrace this journey and try and learn how to navigate this blog to get my point of view across and show you all the things I love to do and am passionate about. Thanks to you all out there in web land and I'll talk to you soon!
